INTRODUCTION

SO-GT does not tolerate any form of corruption on the part of its employees, suppliers, or any other partner. None of its employees, suppliers, or partners is or will be authorized to make payments, solicitations, promises or any other form of deed that may be considered a “bribe.”

ANTI CORRUPTION

SO-GT will not accept, offer, or tolerate any offer, promise, grant, acceptance, or (in)direct solicitation for incentives to gain an unfair advantage in the market. Incentives may take the form of facilitation payments, gifts, loans, fees, rewards, or other benefits (taxes, services, donations, favors, etc.), from its employees, suppliers, partners, sales agents, or any other actor she works with.

DEFINITIONS

The terms mentioned above are defined as:

An object or gesture of value (gift, reward, or other benefits) considered a “bribe”: money, or any offer, promise or gift of something of value or benefits. It does not have to be of great monetary value. This may include:

  1. Entertainment;
  2. Travel;
  3. Incentive programs;
  4. A job or internship offer;
  5. Suppliers overpaying;
  6. Discounts;
  7. Commissions on services provided;
  8. Intangible benefits such as providing information or helping to obtain a benefit or benefit.

 

Facilitation payment: A “small bribe,” also known as “facilitation,” “speed” or “greasing” payment; made to secure or expedite the execution of a routine or necessary action to which the payer has a right, legal, or another. 

Direct or indirect contact: Either direct contact between an employee and the contracting party in question, or contact through a third party, such as an intermediary, agent or consultant.

RECORD HOLDINGS

All transaction executed or received by SO-GT are registered diligently in to ensure traceability. All information must be complete, with respect to the parties involved, the amount of the payment and the date and nature of the transaction.

WHISTLEBLOWER POLICY

SO-GT encourages and supports its employees to report other employees or suppliers on suspicion of misconduct, illegal acts or non-compliance with the company’s ethical policy. The information provided by whistleblowers is processed diligently by the company executives.

The purpose of this policy is to provide an internal mechanism to report, investigate and remedy any wrongdoing in the workplace. Whistleblowers will be protected, and the information obtained will be treated seriously.

OUTSOURCING

SO-GT expects its suppliers to comply with the same business and ethical principles to which it adheres. The leaders of our company will not tolerate any form of corruption or violation of any principle of ethics on the part of our suppliers.
